Who we are
VitalHealthPlus is an online resource for people who want quick, easy-to-understand health information. Many health numbers, like Body Mass Index, are widely used but not always well explained. We wanted to create a place where anyone can calculate these numbers in seconds and also learn what they mean and what they don’t.
Our tools are free to use, work on phones, tablets, and computers, and don’t require an account. Each tool comes with a plain-language explanation so you can understand your result rather than just see a number.
We believe good health information should be accurate, honest about its limits, and easy for everyone to use.

How We Build Our Tools

Standard formulas
Our BMI calculator uses the standard Body Mass Index formula and the adult BMI categories commonly used by public health organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Clear limitations
Every tool explains what its result means and where it falls short. For example, we point out that BMI does not tell muscle apart from fat and that adult categories don’t apply to people under 20.

Neutral, respectful language
We describe results calmly and without judgment. Our aim is to inform, not to alarm.

Your numbers stay on your device
Our BMI calculator runs entirely in your web browser. The height, weight, and age you enter are used only to calculate your result on your device and are not sent to our servers. You can read more in our Privacy Policy.
